Third Win Midweek - 10th April
Harrow Hill picked up their third win of the season in midweek, beating Flackwell Heath 3-1, but they are 14 points adrift at the bottom of the table ahead of tomorrow's home match with Ardley United.
Hill lost 4-0 at Ardley in December and the visitors can cement their place in the top five by completing a double at Larksfield Road. |
Search Continues - 27th March
Harrow Hill entertain Milton in their search for another three points following their second win of the season last week.
Although Hill are 14 points adrift at the bottom of the table their surprise 3-2 win at Hook Norton Town has raised morale at Larksfield Road.
Hill lost out 2-1 to Milton back in October and were defeated 1-0 by Shrivenham in midweek, but they have high hopes of putting more points on the board in this battle of the bottom two. |
Search For A Win - 20th March
Harrow Hill's search for a second Premier Division win of the season continues at Hook Norton.
Even bottom-but-one Milton United have a better home record than Hook Norton and Hill will be aiming to exploit that at The Bourne.
The mid-table hosts are currently on a winless five-game run but they did beat Harrow Hill 4-2 in their previous meeting.
Star striker Ricky Johnson scored a hat-trick on that occasion and he will be eager to increase an impressive tally that stands at 25 goals in 31 games this season. |
Premier Tussle - 27th February
Two teams from the bottom four meet at Larksfield Road where Harrow Hill host Abingdon Town.
Hill, who have lost their last five, were beaten 2-1 by the Abbots in October when Paul Manns' goal was not enough. Abingdon have won two out of their last three and were boosted by the return of Mark Simms last weekend. Simms, who has rejoined the Culham Road club from Southern League outfit North Leigh, scored twice in a 4-2 win over Chalfont Wasps. |
Hill Travel To Hungerford - 30th January
Top meets bottom in the FTL Futbol Hellenic league Premier Division as relegation threatened Harrow Hill travel to leaders Hungerford Town.
Hungerford, who have a seven-point advantage over Shortwood United, are the division's leading scorers and have won their last 13 league games.
Hill, who are the division's lowest scorers, have only won once in 22 Premier games but they surprisingly held Hungerford to a 2-2 draw in their last meeting.
Will Freeman (pictured) was the Hill hero in that September clash with both goals and the Larksfield Road outfit will be determined to upset the Crusaders again tomorrow. |
First Home Win? - 9th January
Harrow Hill will be aiming to find their first home win of the season when they take on Marlow United, who finished as runners-up to Chalfont Wasps in Hellenic League Division One East last season.
Four straight defeats for Hill mean they are bottom but one and the Larksfield Road club have already lost to their opponents once this season, 3-2 in November.
Mid-table Marlow come into the game on an even worse run of form with seven successive defeats.
In their last four games they have conceded 21 goals without scoring themselves and unsurprisingly hold the worst defensive record in the Premier Division. |
Change Of League Fortune - 21st November
Two teams desperately in need of a change of fortune meet at Yarnton Road when bottom club Harrow Hill visit Kidlington.
Hill who are yet to win a league games this season, collected a fifth point by drawing 0-0 at home to fellow strugglers Old Woodstock Town last time out.
Kidlington have endured a similarly torrid time with one from their last 11 league games. However, the 2008 Floodlit Cup winners booked their place in the third round of this season's competition with a 3-1 victory at Holyport on Tuesday night. |
Hill In The Vase - 3rd October
Steve Boseley will be looking for the same commitment from his Harrow Hill team as they gave in the last round of The FA Vase, when they travel to Aylesbury for tomorrows First Round Proper fixture.
Hill won only their fourth Vase game in 25 attempts when they beat league rivals Ardley United in the last round. The Forest of Dean team now meet an Aylesbury Vale side who have only won once in four Vase games themselves after changing their name from Haywood United.
The Spartan South Midlands League Premier side are in mid-table after starting the season with three wins in six games. They faced Wessex Premier Division Alton Town in the last Vase round achieving a 3-1 victory
Hill are bottom of the FTL Futbol Hellenic Premier Division and have yet to find a win in their opening eight fixtures but they did hold high flying Hungerford Town to a 2-2 draw last week. |
