Dear Guy,

As a fellow Chairman of a club who has very much enjoyed playing in and more recently watching the local derby’s between our sides over many decades I read you note on the Hellenic League web site with a heavy heart. It is yet another sad day for grass roots football.

I very much understand your situation; it is a constant season on season battle for us and many other clubs to keep the clubs we are all so passionate about solvent and energised.

Assistant Manager Position - 4th September

Chalfont Wasps of One East are looking for a volunteer to work with the 1st Team Manager as his Assistant.

Ideally, candidates will have a Level 2 football coaching qualification, the club could assist you in attaining this, or previous experience of player management at Hellenic League level.

Following recent interviews with a number of excellent candidates Chalfont Wasps are delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Keen as Chalfont Wasps First Team Manager with immediate effect.

Andy brings a wealth of football knowledge and management experience to the club following his successful roles with Reading FC, Thatcham Town FC and most recently Bracknell Town FC.
