Well against all the odds, some Hellenic League Over 50's football was played on Wednesday night at the excellent venue of Hook Norton FC.
In a series of 20 minute matches with the teams playing each other twice, and whilst the results were not important, the scores were!

So a very close competition and without an intended foul all evening!
The Rest of HL having never played together previously scoring the goal of the night with a drive from 20 yards giving the Droitwich keeper no chance with the very last kick of the evening, and also spoiling the guest team's 100% record. Thanks very much to Droitwich for their flexibility and loan of players to make up team numbers in matches, and to Royals, OCC and Chippy Old Boys for the loan of kits etc.
The organisers thank Hooky secretary Garnet Thomas for making it possible. It was also very satisfying that every player paid their £5 subs on trust and without a single moan.
