Away The Lads! - 11th February
The extraordinary run of away games for Chalfont Wasps Reserves continues, so the lads hope to make the most of a rare home fixture against old rivals Rayners Lane Reserves in the league tomorrow.
The Reserves were drawn away in all five rounds of the B&B Junior Cup (until jet lag got to them and they bowed out to East Hendred), all five games in the qualifying stage of the Presidents Cup, away to Highworth Town in the Hellenic Reserves Challenge Cup and have now even been drawn away in their first fixture in the Wycombe Junior Cup. Had it not been for a sprinkling of home games in the League, the bar staff at the club would have forgotten what we look like !
By the end of Feb the Reserves will have played a total of 19 games this season, 3 at home and 16 away. Maybe the tide will turn in March..............ah, 5th March : away to Rayners Lane Reserves. Oh well, maybe next season then...

Return Of The Prodigal Ressies - 16th November
Chalfont Wasps Reserves are looking forward to the visit of Ascot United Reserves on Saturday, as this will mark the first competitive home game for Wasps Reserves this season.
After a remarkable sequence of nine successive away games in all competitions since the start of the season (League, Challenge Cup, Presidents Cup and B&B Junior Cup) plus the fact that they train away from the club, on astroturf, the club is issuing the Reserve Team squad with detailed directions on how to find their own home ground.
Secretary Bob Cakebread added "Thanks to the widespread use of SatNav, we're confident that the lads will turn up in the right place, on time this weekend. It's just the way things have panned out"
