New Era At APFC Starts This Weekend - 17 August

Adderbury Park return to the Hellenic League for the first time since 2004/5 in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division Two West and open up against Shrivenham Development who will provide a stern test in the opening game of the season.

Ironically AP's last game in the Hellenic was against Shrivenham's 1st team, who sealed the Division One West title that day, whilst Park were relegated.

First team manager Lewis Travers (pictured) said: "Firstly it's been a huge effort by all staff and players this pre-season building up to this first game. It will be a really tough test for us against our visitors Shrivenham. Adderbury Park is a club going in the right direction, with a young and hungry squad full of talent. This will only get us so far though and as the season progresses we will all need to work together as a team and show the attitude and determination required to be successful at this level."

He continued. "It's my first year in management and it's one I'm very much looking forward to. Hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves and finish as high as we possibly can. I'm a firm believer of what you put in to something is what you get out of it and I hope my squad will very much adopt that mantra this season. Any successful team I have been fortunate to play in has had a great team spirit and that's what I'm looking for from my lads. We are looking to set the tone and for the best start possible, all of that starts with this game."

We look forward to welcoming Shrivenham Development to Adderbury Park FC this weekend for the beginning of a new era at APFC.
