Oliver – R.I.P. - 17th September
Saturday was a sad day for FTL Futbol Hellenic One East Club Bisley FC as club members learned of the death of the club’s former Youth Team player Oliver Kingonzila who was tragically stabbed to death outside a Bar in Croydon.
Oliver came to prominence during the 2006- 2007 season playing for Bisley U18’s side in the Allied Counties League. He formed a great partnership with Billy Chincharo up front and they scored 35 goals between them as the title was won by just two points, with Binfield as Runner Up.
Manager Brian Hirschfield brought him to the Club and he was a very popular member of the squad who used his height and physique very well whilst playing but off the pitch was a very quiet lad who was always smiling and joking. Andy Clement was Manager of Bisley First team at the time and he was very keen to sign Oliver for the following season but by then he was being tracked by Barnet and he eventually signed for them and he went with Bisley’s very best wishes. Both Andy Clement and former Chairman, Simon Hollis are devastated by this sad and tragic news and are finding it hard to take in.
Deepest condolences go to Oliver’s family and friends from all within Bisley FC as they come to terms with their loss.
