Attention Turns To Supplementary Cup Final - 2 May

Headington Amateurs finish second in Division One East and now focus on the Bluefin Hellenic Supplementary Cup Final on Friday night.

Headington completed their league fixtures on Tuesday night at Larges Lane, a crowd of 140 creating a great atmosphere as they tried to inspire Bracknell to the win they needed to have any chance of claiming third place and a promotion spot.

Despite coming under intense pressure Headington defended with great purpose and discipline to claim a point in that rarity in football, a highly entertaining goalless draw.

Attention will now turn to Friday night's Bluefin Sports Supplementary Challenge Cup Final, at Abingdon Town kick off 7.45pm, when the A's will face Slimbridge who won through in their semi-final replay with Tytherington Rocks on Monday night after a penalty shoot-out. Slimbridge finished sixth in the Premier Division so Headington will be well aware of the challenge but are confident it can be met if they can hit top form on the night. Paul Hedger had to be withdrawn in last Saturday's match with Maidenhead but is hopeful of being fit, whilst Yannick Nkwanyuo, having missed recent games with a muscle strain, came on for the last twenty five minutes of the Bracknell game with no apparent reaction.

Amateurs Eye Runner Up Position - 26 April

After winning through to the final of the Bluefin Supplementary Cup at Carterton on Tuesday night, Headington host Maidenhead on Saturday then visit Bracknell on Tuesday in their last two league games.

The runners-up spot in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East remains firmly in their sights, three points from the remaining two fixtures would probably seal the spot. Third place Woodley Town are six points behind, on the same number of games, if Headington win one of their remaining fixtures, then Woodley would need to win both and make up a 10 goal deficit.

The Bluefin cup tie at Carterton was typical of many a semi-final, fast, furious and hard fought throughout. Luke Cuff's early strike was canceled out by Mike Deurden, but Headington's player manager struck again to send the A's into their first Hellenic final at first team level.

Headington's fine cup run has been in stark contrast to their disappointing league form in the last month that has seen the hopes of a second league title in three years fade at the last. However, four points from the last two league matches would definitely ensure runners-up spot, and set their confidence for Bluefin Sports Supplementary Cup Final next Friday (May 3) night at Abingdon Town, against either Slimbridge or Tytherington Rocks.

League & Cup Games For The A's - 18 April

Headington Amateurs are in the Semi-Final of the Bluefin Insurers Hellenic Supplementary Cup on Tuesday, but first have to contend with Bracknell Town in the league on Saturday.

These two sides will at last meet in a One East league game after scheduled fixtures between them have repeatedly suffered postponements during the worst of this season's weather. They did play a Bluefin Supplementary Cup Tie back in mid January when Headington shaded a ten goal thriller at Larges Lane. Since then both have seen their title hopes fade, leaders Rayners Lane would have to drop points in both of their last two games for Headington to have any chance of catching them.

On Tuesday Headington travel to Carterton for the semi-final of the Bluefin Supplementary Cup. Liam Morbey is available again after dental work, although fellow wing back Yannick Nkwanyuo is a doubt (calf). Jay Hill will miss the rest of the season as he faces further surgery on the facial injury he sustained after the match against AFC Hinksey.

Squad for both games: Jenkins, L.Morbey, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, C.Morbey, Hill, Henderson, Payne, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob, Barrett, Williams, Hedger. Hafiz, Brown.

Home Delights - 5 April

Headington Amateurs and 'lodgers', AFC Hinksey, meet for the second of this season's Uhlsport Hellenic One East fixtures between the two at Barton tomorrow.

After last week's heavy defeat at Penn & Tylers Green Headington know that a win is imperative if they are to keep their title ambitions alive. With Rayners Lane also losing last week, the position at the top remains unchanged but games are running out, with Bracknell Town (twice) and Maidenhead United Reserves to play after the Hinksey game, the A's have a tough finish to the season in store.

Benji Cuff returns after suspension, Paul Hedger may be fit to take a place on the bench after his long injury lay-off, with Yannick Nkwanyuo also returning after missing out last week. Liam Morbey is unavailable after dental surgery.

From: Jenkins, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, C.Morbey, Hill, Henderson, Payne, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob, Barrett, Hafiz, Williams, Brown, Hedger.

A's Expect Tough Test At Penn - 28 March

Following last week's blanket postponement of Uhlsport Hellenic League fixtures Headington will have been out of action for a month by the time they get to Penn & Tylers Green on Saturday.

Although occupying a mid-table position Penn have inflicted their only home defeats on both Headington and leaders Rayners Lane, plus this week completed the double over Bracknell Town with an impressive 1-3 win at Larges lane.

Last week's postponement means that skipper Benji Cuff has still to complete the third of a three match suspension with Headington selecting from the same squad.

A's Return To Business - 21 March

Headington return to league action after what has been effectively a three week break with a tough trip to fellow title contenders Bracknell Town.

Narrow wins in their last two league fixtures against Milton United and Henley Town appear to have halted a 'blip' in form that saw them lose ground to Uhlsport One East leaders Rayners Lane in particular. Four points behind with 'five to play' leaves the A's having to win all of them in all probability, plus still rely on Rayners dropping points. Bracknell, of course are in a similar position, if the 'ten goal fest' that these sides put on in their Bluefin Insurers Supplementary Cup tie in January is anything to go by Saturday's clash will be well worth watching.

Skipper Benji Cuff sits out the last of his three match suspension, otherwise Headington hope to be at near full strength.

First Home Game In Six Weeks - 15 February

After taking just two points from their last three away fixtures, Headington return to their Barton Village Road ground for the first time in six weeks as they play host to Milton United.

A return to form is imperative if they are to maintain a title challenge in Uhlsport Division One East. With Rayners Lane four points clear plus Bracknell, Maidenhead United Reserves and Woodley all potentially capable of overhauling the top two (all three have fifteen games left to play!) the A's will take some comfort from their squad gradually returning to full strength. Aaron Williams returns having not played since Boxing Day leaving just Paul Hedger sidelined with the knee injury he sustained on December 15th.

From: Jenkins, L.Morbey, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, B.Cuff, C.Morbey, Hill, Henderson, Payne, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob, Hafiz, Williams, Brown.

A's Good Shape - 31 January

As has been the case with most clubs Headington have not played a league game since 12 January, though they are in pretty good shape as far as fixture backlog is concerned.

Having completed nineteen Uhlsport Hellenic Division One East matches, nine remain with the first of those at Finchampstead on Saturday. The downside for the A's has been the lack of opportunity to train with the recent bad weather. An unfortunate floodlight failure meant that any ball work had to be forfeited this week in favour of every footballers favourite pastime... the 'road run'.

Headington had to work extremely hard for their 2-0 success in the home clash with Finchampstead back in August so are prepared for another difficult game. Although somewhat fortunate to take a point in their last league game at Easington Sports, they were in good form three days later, winning through in their second round Bluefin Insurance Supplementary Cup Tie at Bracknell Town.

Paul Hedger remains side-lined with knee trouble, & Joe Barrett is unavailable but Aaron Williams may be able to take a place on the 'bench' after his recent thigh muscle problems.

From: Jenkins, L.Morbey, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, B.Cuff, C.Morbey, Hill, Henderson, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob, Hafiz, Williams.

Familiar Ground For The A's - 10 January

Headington Amateurs return to familiar territory this weekend when they make the short trip to Banbury to play Easington Sports. Both clubs moved from Uhlsport Hellenic League One West to East for the 2012-13 season.

Centre back Aaron Williams joins Paul Hedger on the injury list, with Tom Payne completing his three match suspension Luke Cuff will again juggle his squad to compensate. The A's hosted Sports back in October, with Luke Cuff and Paul Hedger netting the goals in a 2-0 home win. Addison Road will be a different venture, it has always proved a hard place to earn points for the visitors. But with the title race entering the final third a positive attitude is a must for second place Amateurs, who are currently two points behind league leaders Rayners Lane and have a game in hand.

Manager Luke Cuff commented: "We were certainly below par against Didcot last week, but dug in for a win, that can be just as satisfying as the good performances, we have to maintain that sort of determination"

From: Jenkins, L.Morbey, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, B.Cuff, C.Morbey, Hill, Henderson, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob, Barrett.

Headington Expect Tough Encounter - 3 January

A month after a late Luke Cuff strike secured a narrow win at Didcot Town against their Reserves side, Headington stage the reverse fixture.

The A's expect another tough game as their pursuit of leaders Rayners Lane enters what could be a crucial month. After Didcot they face three of the top six in the league during January and will want to be in touch at the end of such a challenging period.

Paul Hedger remains sidelined with a knee injury and recent postponements mean Tom Payne has still to serve two of his three match ban. David Lester should return after missing the Boxing Day game through illness.

Hopes For Tomorrow - 28 December

After coming out on top in the Boxing Day derby with AFC Hinksey, the A’s face 6th placed Bracknell Town tomorrow.

That sixth place is a little misleading though, as Bracknell may be fifteen points adrift but have played six! games fewer.

The game against Hinksey was played in front of a decent crowd despite the poor weather. The pitch looked fine at the start of play but ‘sods law’ decreed that it started raining from kick off and did not relent for the rest of the match, so it’s fingers crossed for Saturday’s game.

Although obviously pleased with the three points it's feet on the ground time for manager Luke Cuff: “It’s great for everyone in the club when you come out on top in a Christmas Derby, but Rayners Lane won by the same score and we have a real tough one on Saturday.”

Headington have no new injury worries but do have a ‘fresh’ face in the technical area. James Brown, still suffering with the persistent knee trouble that has plagued him for the last eighteen months, has been appointed by Cuff to the management team, making his ‘debut’ against AFC Hinksey thus relegating the Chairman from the bench in the process!, a pretty good way to start.

Injuries Stretch Amateurs - 20 December

Headington's loss of three points to Penn & Tylers Green, only their second of the 2012/13 campaign, was compounded with injuries from that game.

Manager Luke Cuff learnt that of the two players injured in the first half of the fixture , midfielder, Paul Hedger is likely to be out for at least four weeks and defender Aaron Williams is rated only fifty fifty for this Saturdays game at Henley.

This, combined with Tom Payne starting the first of a three match ban along with goal keeper Harry Jenkins unavailable, Cuff takes a philosophical line."The injuries are unfortunate but all clubs have to cope with that. Jay Hill should be available after missing the last three matches plus Francis Mapplethorpe will come in for Harry. Two young players, David Lester and Connor Henderson, have also both done well recently."

Cuff conceded that Penn & Tylers fully deserved their win. "They were excellent, although we missed some opportunities they were generally better than us on the day. We have to get that defeat out of the system, by trying to start another run at Henley on Saturday."

A's Wish For Christmas Cheer - 13 December

After last week’s narrow win at Didcot Town, Headington will now, weather permitting, stage their last home game before Christmas when they entertain Penn & Tylers Green this Saturday.

The win at Didcot was secured, on his own admission, by a rather fortuitous late strike from manager Luke Cuff but none of the players was complaining – at least not until the ‘Oxford Mail’s’ description on Monday. But as Cuff and assistant Matty Jacob observed: “We did enough to have won more comfortably but the clean sheet was especially satisfying when you consider that David Lester (20) was starting just his second game, along with Connor Henderson (16) who was making his debut at centre back just days after signing for the club.”

Chairman Don Light observed: “The week before Connor was helping out in the kitchen, a repeat of that scenario is highly unlikely!”

Although Penn & Tylers currently lie thirteenth in the One East table, they have recorded wins over both Rayners Lane and Bracknell Town, performances that suggest they are a match for anyone on their day.

With the return of Yannick Nkwanyuo and Aaron Williams this week, plus Jay Hill for the Christmas period, Headington’s squad is looking stronger in quality and depth as they enter the second half of the season well placed to maintain their title challenge.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Zaja, Nkwanyuo, Lester, Williams, B.Cuff, Pearce, Henderson, Hedger, Payne, Green, L.Cuff, Jacob,  Barrett.

Positive After Cup Exit - 6 December

Despite last week’s exit from the Oxfordshire FA Senior Cup (the second time in a month that Headington have lost out in extra time to Premier Division opposition) the management team of Luke Cuff and Matty Jacob remain positive ahead of this Saturdays' trip to Didcot in Uhlsport Hellenic Division 1 East.

Already missing three defenders prior to the game with Kidlington, Liam Morbey then had to be substituted after twenty minutes following a blow to the face necessitating some expensive dental work. On the plus side twenty year old David Lester made his full debut and put in a confident display against experienced opposition.

Lester looks sure to retain his place as Yannick Nkwanyuo and Jay Hill are still on holiday whilst veteran Shaun Pearce is also unavailable. Ollie Zaja does return however, whilst Cuff hopes that he may also have Aftab Hafiz available.

Usual Suspects - 29 November

Following last week's hard earned three points against Chalfont Wasps Headington host their near neighbours Premier Division Kidlington for the third year running in OFA Cup competition.

Two years ago it was also in the County Senior Cup when Kiddy prevailed with a score line of 2-5. Last year Headington came out on top when they reversed that score in a Bluefin Insurance Cup tie. If nothing else the game this Saturday should promise goals.

Looking back to the league encounter with Wasps, Headington were pretty relieved to get home 2-0 in a very tight encounter. Despite the otherwise atrocious weather, Headington's pitch was in remarkably good condition but it was Chalfont who adapted best to a slick surface. They will certainly have been ruing missed opportunities in an especially impressive first half. Nevertheless the win took Headington to within a point of long time leaders Rayners Lane, with exactly half of their league programme completed, still with a game in hand.

Centre back Jay Hill is now on holiday, he misses four matches in December so veteran Shaun Pearce is recalled.

"A's" Welcome "Wasps" - 22 November

Second plays fifth as Headington host Chalfont Wasps on Saturday in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East.

Although seeking to keep the pressure on leaders Rayners Lane Headington are well aware of the danger posed by a side they lost heavily to on the opening day of the season.

Assistant manager Matty Jacob said: "If Wasps were to win their games in hand they would close to within two points of the lead in One East. Last week's win at Chinnor was first rate, for a long time it was much closer than the score suggests, we had to work hard but fully deserved it in the end. The same effort and concentration will be needed this week before we face a busy December with seven matches in all competitions."

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, L.Cuff, Green, Lester, Barrett.

Tight In One East - 15 November

Despite the satisfaction at taking a hard earned point at Rayners Lane last week, a glance at the league table shows how tight a race One East is turning into.

Manager Luke Cuff: "Both sides will have felt they could have won the game last week, but it was a terrific match, neither side really deserved to lose. However it gave other teams the chance to close up, looking at Chinnor's recent results we will have to keep our performance levels just as high."

Chairman Don Light was also impressed with the officials and the Rayners Lane's hospitality. "The referee Neil Morrison was as good as the teams, his 'team' really gave the impression that they were enjoying themselves, but always firm and decisive when they had to be. Rayners looked after us for the whole of our visit, the a high class match was a bonus."

Headington have no injury worries for the game this weekend at Chinnor.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, L.Cuff, Green, Lester, Barrett.

A's Spirit High - 9 November

Headington will travel to Rayners Lane for their top of the table clash in good spirit despite losing at home to Witney Town last week in the Bluefin Sports Insurance Cup.

Manager Luke Cuff conceded that Witney just about deserved the result but felt his team gave a really good account of themselves: "Witney proved just that bit stronger, especially in extra time, but the guys proved they can compete with a side that are currently fourth in the Premier. Now we have to focus on this Saturday. I know Rayners have had a poor run in the league but they are still top & they were back to winning ways in the cup last week against Clanfield." Benji Cuff will return after serving a one match suspension, otherwise Headington will take the same fourteen.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, L.Cuff, Green, Lester, Barrett.

"A's" Waterside Visit - 25 October

Headington visit Thatcham Town Reserves on Saturday on the back of an eleven match unbeaten run but with a cautious observation from Assistant Manager Matty Jacob.

Jacob comments: "Although they have been struggling so far they have just changed their manager. That can have a galvanising effect on a team so we will need to be fully focused if we are to keep our good run going. We were not at our best at Clanfield in the Senior Cup last week but it was a good win at a venue where we usually struggle"

Meanwhile the squad will be fully stretched. Aaron Williams will be back after missing out last week through illness while Paul Hedger and Shaun Jacob face late fitness tests. Joseph Barrett is on holiday plus Aftab Hafiz is unavailable.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, L.Cuff, Green, Lester

County Cup Venture - 18 October

The Amateurs break from League football with a visit to Radcot Road for the first round of The Oxfordshire Senior Cup.

Last week's exhilarating win against Uhlsport Hellenic One East league leaders Rayners Lane understandably saw the team in buoyant mood.

But manager Luke Cuff is fully focused on this Saturday: "Last week was a terrific effort against a very good outfit but that's gone now, Clanfield will be tough, we don't have a great record at their place. We had a good run in this competition last year, it would be nice to repeat that this time around."

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, Hafiz, L.Cuff, Green, Barrett, Lester.

First Meet In Six Years - 11 October

Having secured the points last week with a 2-0 win against third placed Easington Sports, Headington now take on league leaders Rayners Lane in what will be their fourth successive home league fixture.

The last time the sides met was in  2006, during Headington's only previous season in the East Division. Manager Luke Cuff has no direct knowledge of 'The Lane' but says their record this season speaks for itself. "Just two points dropped in nine games, nearly fifty goals, we know it will be tough but our own form has been good and the players are looking forward to the challenge"

Preparations have not been easy this week as the nights have started to 'close in' but new training floodlights have been ordered with delivery imminent, as Headington look to build on what has been a good start to the season. With no fresh injury worries Headington name the same squad as last week.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, Hafiz, L.Cuff, Green, Barrett, Lester.

"A's" Back In League Action - 4 October

Following last week's dramatic extra time win at Hook Norton in the Bluefin Challenge Cup, Headington return to league action in a top of the table clash with Easington Sports.

Only goal difference separates the sides who sit second and third in the Uhlsport Hellenic One East table. Both sides will be desperate for the three points as they trail leaders Rayners Lane by ten points. With the Lane due at Headington the following week Saturday's match takes on added significance. Jay Hill and Aftab Hafiz, both unavailable last week, return to give manager Luke Cuff a near full strength squad to pick from.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Hill, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, Hafiz, L.Cuff, Green, Barrett, Lester

East West Bluefin Challenge - 26 September

Without a game last week Headington have effectively enjoyed a fortnights break before Saturday's visit to Uhlsport Hellenic League One West's Hook Norton for a first round Bluefin Challenge Cup tie.

The teams' have similar records in their league campaigns this season, both having suffered just one defeat. Jay Hill and Aftab Hafiz are both unavailable whilst Aaron Williams faces a late fitness test (shoulder). Paul Hedger returns after a holiday break.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Jacob, Hedger, Payne, L.Cuff, Green, Barrett, Brown, Smith.

FA Award For Don Light - 26 September

At last nights Oxfordshire FA Awards evening Donald Light received an FA Long Service Award for 50 years meritorious service from OFA President Reg Grant and OFA Council Member Dave Tutton on behalf of the FA.

Donald Light, Chairman & Secretary of Headington Amateur’s FC was nominated for this award and has been in football for nearly 52 Years and given great service in all fields of Committee and Management. What is unique Donald is that it has been achieved with one club. Don started in 1961 as a young player and became a Committee Member at a young age.

His service to his club Headington Amateurs FC covered every position except Treasurer. To the present day he serves as Chairman and Secretary. I am sure that if it was not for volunteers like Don then the club would not exist today.

Donald Light was presented with the 50 Year Long Service Medal a 50 Year Long Service Lapel Badge and a letter of congratulations from the FA Leader of Council, Barry Bright.

New Ground To Break - 14 September

Headington will break new ground again when they entertain a Thatcham side for the first time.

Although Thatcham Town were founder members of the Hellenic League they had 'moved on' before Headington's time in the league.

After three successive 1-1 draws the A's broke that sequence with an eight goal spree against Henley Town last week. Despite the one sided score line, Henley gave a creditable performance for a team that has had to build from scratch following the mass exodus at the end of last season. Competing throughout the game and displaying admirable discipline for a team under constant pressure.

Jay Hill returns on Saturday after serving a one match suspension, whilst the only injury doubt is Benji Cuff (ankle). Paul Hedger is on holiday.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, Hill, B.Cuff, Jacob, Payne, L.Cuff, Hafiz, Green, Barrett, Brown.

A's Away This Weekend - 31 August

After successive home draws in which they felt they created enough chances to have won both games, Headington travel to Maidenhead tomorrow.

Manager Luke Cuff still unsure of the strength of his squad. James Brown (ankle) and Paul Hedger (shin splints) remain injury doubts. But Ollie Zaja is definitely back, the chairman's conviction that his holidays finished a week ago apparently glossed over as a clerical error!

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Jacob, Hedger, Hill, L.Cuff, Hafiz, Green, Barrett, Brown, Smith.

Headington Happy With Progress - 24 August

Four games into the season, The "A's" new manager Luke Cuff is reasonably happy with the luke cuff headington amateurs fc hellenic leagueprogress shown.

Cuff comments."The new signings have all settled in quickly, with a little more luck in front of goal on Tuesday against Chinnor we would now be on level points with the leaders."

He continued. "The game with Chinnor in mid-week was a fine advert for Division One football , although Headington rattled the woodwork four times in the first half Chinnor defended resolutely and were a persistent threat on the break. Both goalkeepers, Harry Jenkins and Chinnor's Paul Taunton, with a man of the match performance, made major contributions to keeping the score down to one apiece."

On Saturday Headington host Woodley Town, the first time that the sides have met. Manager Cuff may well be picking from a full squad for the first time. Defender James Brown and midfielder Paul Hedger, who both missed the mid-week draw with Chinnor, are the only injury doubts for Saturday. Ollie Zaja returns to the squad after missing three games through holidays.

From: Jenkins, Morbey, Nkwanyuo, Zaja, Williams, B.Cuff, Pearce, Jacob, Hedger, Hill, L.Cuff, Hafiz, Green, Payne, Barrett, Smith, Strong, Brown, Mapplethorpe.

Tough Heights Test Expected - 16 August

After their heavy defeat on the opening day the Amateurs secured a midweek win at home to Finchampstead with two goals in three first half minutes from manager Luke Cuff.

Cuff is expecting a tough test this coming Saturday when he takes his side on the short trip to Milton United who have won both their opening fixtures. He will be without defenders Liam Morbey, Ollie Zaja, James Brown as well as midfielder Shaun Jacob at The Heights on Saturday. But veteran former manager Shaun Pearce who re-signed in time to play against Finchampstead should again be available.

From: Jenkins, Mapplethorpe, Nkwanyuo, Williams, B.Cuff, Pearce, Jacob, Hedger, Hill, L.Cuff, Hafiz, Green, Barrett, Smith, Strong.

Cuff New Amateur's Manager - 22 July

luke cuff headington amateurs fc hellenic leagueLuke Cuff has been appointed player/manager of Headington Amateurs following the resignation of Shaun Pearce.

Pearce had been was charge of the reserve side, then for the last four years the first team. The capture the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West Championship in season 2010-11 the stand out achievement. Pearce has also decided to hang up his boots from regular football at the age of 41 as he contemplates a complete rest from football. An amicable parting will see Pearce remain a member of the club.

Luke Cuff (pictured) has been with Headington for five years, during that time has proved one of the most prolific strikers in Hellenic football. He will take his first training session on Monday 23rd July and will be in charge when Headington take on Shrivenham in the Jim Newman Cup at Clanfield this Saturday 28th July.

Headington held their Presentation Evening at their clubhouse on Saturday 13th July when Liam Morbey received the Norman Smith Trophy (players player of the year). Shaun Jacob, an ever present with 39 league and cup appearances, was the Managers Player of the Year.
