New Management At Old Woodstock - 11 June
Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One West Old Woodstock Town FC announce their new management team for season 2013-14.
Clint Ross will manage the first team and Ben Fouracre takes on the management of the second team, with Keith Lard as general management assistant.
Clint, having run championship winning youth sides in the area, feels the time is right for his return to football management at a senior level. Ben after a great first season success with Upper Thames Valley League Woodstock Wanderers has been appointed to the post of reserve team manager.
Woodstock Secretary Ian Whelan has stated. "In Ben, OWTFC probably have the youngest manager in the league at the age of twenty. He is one who, we at OWT feel, has tremendous potential and with the opportunity to work with Clint Ross can only improve. The club's appointment of the new managers was taken after a great deal of thought by the committee with a view to achieving a marked improvement in the Respect Programme operated by the UHL, in conjunction with the long running ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy".
"OWTFC would also like to thank last Seasons Management team of John Prpa and Eddie Nix for all their hard work over the last two seasons and former reserve managers Graham Savin and Nick Smith."
Pre-Season Training Starts on Tuesday 18th June 6.30pm prompt at New Road Woodstock, old and new players welcome.
