The other scheduled tie between New College Swindon and Newbury was abandoned by the Referee at the conclusion of the 90 minutes with the scores tied at 4-4. AM Print & Copy Floodlit Cup Quarter Final
Binfield won by the odd goal in five against Flackwell Heath. Binfield having gone in at half time 2-0 up thanks to a James Suarez double were pegged back by 2nd half strikes for Flackwell Heath from Riccardo Cannon and Danny Jordan. Stuart Tanfield scoring his third goal in two games struck late on however to seal Binfield's place in the semi final. They were joined on the night by Shortwood United who fielded a much changed squad from that put out by Manager John Evans last weekend, making full use of his squad in what has now become a hectic run in to the end of the season and we are only just at the close of January! Shortwood once again made the trip to Palmer Park, Reading, to take on Highmoor Ibis, leaders of Division One East, in a tie rearranged from a couple of weeks ago that was lost to a frozen pitch. Highmoor gave a very good account of themselves twice taking a first half lead against their Premier Division opponents through goals from Aaron Baker and Phil Griffiths. An own goal and a Matt Bennett strike midway through the second half drew Shortwood level. With no further scoring at 90 minutes, the tie proceeded straight to a penalty shootout which Shortwood won 4-3 to continue their involvement in four Cup competitions and the chase to win the Premier Division.

Middlesex Help for Heroes Charity Cup
A dour affair saw Hanworth Villa and Rayners Lane goalless after 90 minutes and extra time. In the ensuing penalty shoot out Rayners Lane eventually came out on top 6-5 to book their place in the Final.

Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy
Once again the ill-fated Berks & Bucks tie between Wantage Town and Holyport was called off for the third consecutive week due to the prevailing weather conditions. The tie has now been rescheduled for 7th February when hopefully it will be fourth time lucky!
